Fires in Petrochemical Facilities

There are many different hazards in petrochemical facilities. An example is sewer fires. The sewer fires are challenging as there is always a risk of explosion. During the explosion, covers of the sewer manholes can blow out and damage the neighbouring facility. This type of fire can affect many process units as they may be connected internally through the sewer.
