The Do’s and Don’ts of Handling a New Fire Claim
September 28, 2022

Access to evidence and reliable information at the onset of a claim is crucial for a successful investigation. We frequently emphasize the importance of contacting an expert as soon as possible so that they may attend the scene before it is altered. But, while that is ideal, it may not always be possible. Several days may pass before an expert is notified, during which time evidence can be compromised. This places a greater weight on the adjuster to perform a high-quality background and discovery investigation up front.
In this webinar, we will discuss the do’s and don’ts of handling a new fire and explosion claim.
