He has participated in hundreds of fire and explosion investigations involving residential structures and large commercial properties. He has also assisted on several large electrical loss remediation assignments and worked extensively on renewable energy projects, performing quality control and assurance of rooftop Photovoltaic installations. In 2016, Matt was named editor of the CAFI journal, a publication produced by the Canadian Association of Fire Investigators.
